Chairman Kim Jong Il Remembered at DPRK Missions Abroad
Pyongyang, December 27 (KCNA) -- Remembrance meetings, Kimjongilia exhibitions, book and photo exhibitions and a film show were held at the DPRK missions in China, Cambodia, Mongolia, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea and Romania on December 12-17 to commemorate the seventh anniversary of the demise of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

At the film show a Korean film dealing with the exploits performed by Kim Jong Il for the accomplishment of the human cause of independence was shown.

Present at the events on invitation were personages of governments, political parties, institutions and organs and others in those countries and officials of the DPRK missions there.

Kong Sam Ol, Cambodian deputy prime minister for Royal Palace, said:

The great Generalissimo Kim Jong Il is a leader of the people and peerless statesman who devoted himself to the happiness of the Korean people and prosperity of the country till the last moments of his life.

He consolidated the traditional and historic relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, which were provided by Great King Norodom Sihanouk and President Kim Il Sung, generation after generation and made a grandiose contribution to the accomplishment of the cause of global independence.

The deputy director of the international department of the Democratic Party of Equatorial Guinea praised Kim Jong Il as the distinguished leader of the Korean people as he devoted his all to defending the sovereignty of the country and realizing national reunification.

The chairman of the Supreme Council of the National Socialist Party of Romania who is chairman of the Romanian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea and the chairman of the Socialist Party of Romania noted that the idea of Kim Jong Il brightly lightens the road ahead of the people aspiring after socialism, adding that the exploits he performed before the Korean and global revolution are immortal.
