They included opening ceremonies of the Korean book, photo and fine art exhibitions in Russia and Venezuela, a book and photo exhibition in Indonesia and photo exhibitions and film shows in Germany, Mongolia, Algeria and Angola between December 9 and 19.

On display at the venues of those events were photos dealing with the exploits of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

And displayed there were works of the peerlessly great men, books and photos introducing the DPRK and fine art works associated with the creative talents of the Korean people.

Korean films including "My Country Has Emerged Victorious by Dint of Single-minded Unity" were shown at the film shows.

Figures including a vice-minister of Foreign Affairs and the director of the institute of military science and technology of the Ministry of Defence of Venezuela were unanimous in saying that the DPRK is a strong country where the leader and the people get united as one and it demonstrates its might as an invincible military power.

The general secretary of the National Guidance Council of the Pioneer Party of Indonesia noted that the DPRK under the leadership of Kim Jong Il invariably maintained the principle of independence in politics, self-supporting in economy and self-reliance in national defence.

The secretary for Women's Development of the Angolan Women's Organization and other figures of various organizations and institutions stressed that Kim Jong Il developed the Workers' Party of Korea into an ever-victorious party and built up the single-minded unity of the Korean society as firm as a rock.
