The Syria TV Channel introduced in detail the ideological and theoretical exploits and Songun leadership exploits performed by Kim Jong Il, screening a portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il and photos dealing with his revolutionary activities.

The Radio Syria also aired a special report praising his exploits which will shine long century by century.

The paper Al Baath said that Kim Jong Il had devotedly worked with his superhuman energy for the country and the people, praising his noble view of life and revolutionary career.

The paper Al Thawrah wrote:

Leader Kim Jong Il had successfully carried forward the revolutionary cause of Juche which was hewed out by President Kim Il Sung, father of socialist Korea, and wisely led the DPRK to dynamically advance along the road of independence and socialism.

One of his exploits is that he had reliably ensured the prosperity of the DPRK and happiness of the people with the treasured sword of Songun.
