Minju Joson Hits Out at U.S. "Human Rights" Racket
Pyongyang, December 27 (KCNA) -- The U.S. and its vassal forces are getting desperate in the "human rights" racket against the DPRK.

Of late, they cooked up a "resolution on human rights in north Korea" at the UN.

Lurking behind their racket over the non-existent "human rights issue of the DPRK" is a design to tighten sanctions and pressure upon the DPRK, says Minju Joson Thursday in a commentary. It goes on:

It is not fortuitous that media and experts in the world, commenting on the madcap "human rights" racket of the U.S., say the U.S. seeks to "pressurize north Korea" by extending sanctions and thus calm down the opposition's backlash at home.

The UN should contribute to promotion of global peace and security and human rights of all people. However, it dropped that mission and duty and has served as a tool for the U.S. high-handed and arbitrary practices to slander a genuine people's country. This is just a tragedy on this planet and disgrace to mankind.

No matter what base means and methods the U.S. and its vassal forces employ, they can never tarnish the image of Korean-style socialism centered on the popular masses, the most advantageous one in the world.

They will have to pay dearly for their provocative and ill-intended acts against the dignified DPRK.
