The credit for this progress goes to the material and technical foundations of sapling production bases which were further strengthened true to the Workers' Party of Korea's plan for turning the whole country into woodland.

Built in Kangwon Province was a modern provincial tree nursery equipped with circular cutting bed, substrate-producing ground and seed selection and sowing grounds.

Jagang, North and South Phyongan, North Hwanghae and other provinces pushed forward the work for building land-and-manpower-saving nurseries on the highest level.

Meanwhile, cities and counties across the country put their mother tree nurseries on a modern basis of higher level to provide the material and technical foundations for reliably ensuring the sapling production.
