Speakers including the chairman of the Korean Friendship Association, the chairman of the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy and the chief of the Madrid Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in Spain said that Kim Jong Il assumed the heavy responsibility of the KPA supreme commander in the period when socialism collapsed in various countries and consequently the imperialists got more vicious in their moves to stifle the DPRK.
