Seen on the front wall of the venue was an art work depicting President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il standing together.

Displayed were photos dealing with the revolutionary careers and exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the revolutionary activities of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed were books and photos introducing the struggle of the Korean people.

Screened at the film show was a Korean film showing the proud appearance of the DPRK.

Present at the event were personages of progressive political parties, organisations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people and organizations for the study of the Juche idea in north European countries including Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark and the DPRK ambassador to Sweden and staff members of his embassy.

The participants laid bouquets and flowers at the art work before paying tributes.

At the event Christer Lundgren, chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association, and Anders Kristensen, chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, made speeches.

They said that this year was a proud year in which the Korean People made greater progress in the struggle for building socialism and national reunification under the wise leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Un.

Welcoming this year's positive events on the Korean peninsula, they vowed to further vigorously conduct the solidarity activities in support of the just cause of the Korean people to safeguard the sovereignty of the country, build socialism and reunify the country.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event.
