Among the audience were Kim Yong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., WPK, vice-chairman of the DPRK State Affairs Commission and vice chairman of the C.C., WPK, and other senior Party and government officials, officials of the Party Central Committee, ministries and national institutions, teaching staff and students of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School, merited persons in Pyongyang and service personnel of the Korean People's Army including leading officers of the armed forces organs.

Present there on invitation were overseas compatriots, diplomatic envoys, representatives of international bodies and military attaches here and their spouses.

The performance began with prologue "We Offer New Year's Greetings to Fatherly Marshal".

The performers respectfully extended New Year greetings to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un in reflection of the ardent desire and loyalty of schoolchildren across the country for his comfort.

They also extended New Year greetings to all the people across the country who are waging a dynamic drive for leaps forward and innovations.

Put on the stage were colorful numbers including small chorus "My Country Represents Life of Generalissimo", music and dance story of Korean schoolchildren in Japan "Sound of Bell at Our School" and dance "Children's Corps Member Kum Sun".

The performers sang of the lives of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who had shown boundless loving care and benevolent affection for children, always putting forward them as the kings of the country.

They also represented the features of happy children who are preparing for the pillars of future, equipping themselves with knowledge, a good moral character and good health, thanks to the socialist system.
