Act of Misleading Public in Period of S. Korean Former Regime Disclosed

Pyongyang, January 5 (KCNA) -- According to the south Korean MBC on Dec. 28 last year, it was revealed that VIPs of the police of south Korea were involved with the red herring operations during the former regime.

The former intelligence director of the Police Agency and others following the then Lee Myung Bak regime organized a department for the red herring operations to hatch plots of every description.

They hushed up cases like the sinking of warship Cheonan and the spread of foot-and-mouth disease that adversely affected the then conservative regime, and things unfavorable for it.
