DPRK Holidays Marked in Russia

Pyongyang, January 6 (KCNA) -- An opening ceremony of a DRPK book, photo and craftwork exhibition took place in Artyom City, Maritime Territory of Russia and a book exhibition and film show in Sankt-Peterburg from December 20 to 28 last year to mark the 27th anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il's assumption of the supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army (KPA) and the 7th anniversary of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un's assumption of the KPA supreme commandership.

Seen on the front wall of the exhibition venue were a portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il and photos documenting his field guidance over various sectors of the national economy and revolutionary activities of the Supreme Leader.

Also displayed there were works of the peerlessly great men, books and photos introducing the development of the DPRK and art pieces showing wisdom and talents of the Korean nation.

Screened at the film show was a Korean film "My Country Has Emerged Victorious by Dint of Single-minded Unity".

Present at the events were personages of various strata and people of Russia.
