Minju Joson Urges Japan to Make Apology and Reparation
Pyongyang, January 6 (KCNA) -- At the end of last year, Germany decided to pay reparations to over 1,000 surviving Jews in different countries, who had evacuated after being persecuted by the then Nazi German government on the eve of the Second World War.

A commentary of Minju Joson Sunday says that the decision convinced everyone once again that no statute of limitations is applicable to the hideous crimes against humanity and that the settlement of the past is human ethics.

The commentary continues:

The misbehavior of Japan, which is shameless enough to justify its sins, quite contrary to Germany, enrages people.

Japan is a war criminal state which imposed untold misfortune and suffering of every description upon the Korean people and other Asian people, being hell-bent on the invasion of the Continent in the last century.

Japan, a felon of history and war criminal state, is under legal and moral obligation to make apology and reparations to the whole Korean nation and the international community for its crimes.

The Japanese reactionaries should know that what remains to be done by Japan is not overseas aggression, but sincere apology and reparations for the past crimes.
