L. Shukolinikov, chairman of the Permanent Standing Committee of the Belarus National Association of Friends of Korean People Named after Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, Vassily Delikov, chairman of the Belarus Association for the Study of Juche Idea, and Drako, chairman of the Organizational Committee of the Communist Workers' Party of Belarus, said in their joint statement on Jan. 5 that they are pleased to see the Korean people confidently moving forward towards the country's prosperity and reunification and durable peace on the Korean peninsula.

The joint statement noted the Korean people under the guidance of Kim Jong Un are registering big successes in the campaign for implementing the behests of the great leaders President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.

It added that the DPRK's stance on foreign policy clarified by Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address instills fresh hope into the peace-loving progressives of the world, and expressed full support for his address.
