LKP Hit for Disturbing Probe into Truth behind May 18 Massacre

| Pyongyang, January 14 (KCNA) -- A lawmaker from the Party for Democracy and Peace of south Korea denounced the "Liberal Korea Party" (LKP) for having tried to check the probe into the truth behind the May 18 Kwangju Massacre on January 11, according to the south Korean Newsis. He said that the LKP denies the special law which was passed at the "National Assembly" for the probe into the truth behind the May 18 movement for democracy and disturbs the probe into the truth behind it. Worse still, the LKP tries to nominate one of those who joined in the army mobilized for the suppression of the Kwangju uprising as a member of the committee for the probe into the truth, he disclosed. |
