HE Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address reviewed last year's work, saying remarkable changes were brought about in the internal and external situations and the socialist construction entered a new stage thanks to the line of independence and strategic decision of the Workers' Party of Korea, and called for making greater strides in the struggle to boost the inter-Korean relations, achieve peace and prosperity and reunify the country.

The entire Korean nation in the north, the south and abroad will glorify this year as a historic one when another radical change is brought about in the accomplishment of the cause of national reunification by further accelerating the nationwide advance for thoroughly implementing the north-south declarations by the concerted efforts.
