Japan Urged to Make Apology and Reparation for War Crimes
Pyongyang, January 15 (KCNA) -- According to the south Korean internet paper Tongil News, the south Korean civic and public organization "Peace Butterfly Taejon Action" held a rally before the girl statue in Taejon on Jan. 9, in which it called for rejecting the domination and interference of foreign forces and urging Japan to make an apology and reparation for the war crimes by the concerted efforts of the Korean nation.

Speakers underscored the need to organize a special committee for liquidating the pro-Japanese remnants and carrying forward the spirit of independence and sovereignty in order to ferret out all the pro-Japanese traitors and take relevant measures.

They also condemned the Japanese government for leaving no stone unturned to cover up the war crime called the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army.

They said that many people suffered from conscript labor forced by the Japanese imperialists, adding that they would struggle to the last until Japan makes a proper apology and reparation.
