Present at the meeting were Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon, Vice-Chairman Nam Sung U, Vice-Chairman and Director General of the General Affairs Department Pae Jin Gu, Vice-Chairman and Director of the Organization Department Jo Il Yon, Vice-Chairman Pak Ku Ho, Vice-Chairwoman Kang Chu Ryon who is also chairwoman of the Central Standing Committee of the Union of Democratic Korean Women in Japan, Chairman of the Central Audit Committee of Chongryon Ri Myong Yu, advisors to the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, its department directors, the director of the Research Institute on History of Korean Residents in Japan, chairmen of Chongryon headquarters in Kanto area, senior officials of central leadership bodies and affiliates of Chongryon, officials under Chongryon headquarters in Kanto area, teachers of Korean schools at all levels and part-time activists.

He said that Kim Jong Un's New Year Address made the Korean people full of confidence in victory and optimism for the bright future and serves as an inspiring banner indicating the way for bringing about the revolutionary upswing on all fronts of socialist construction.

Kim Jong Un personally sent a message of New Year greeting to Chongryon and Koreans in Japan this year, too, he said, calling on all officials of Chongryon to thoroughly implement the tasks set forth by Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address and message of New Year greeting.
