Audio Reading Pen Developed
Pyongyang, January 17 (KCNA) -- The Meari Sounder Company of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea recently developed an audio reading pen "Sori Yonphil" for preschool children.

According to Sok Myong Song, section chief of the company, the audio reading pen is a device to optically identify pictures and alphabetic information in specially-printed textbooks and read them correctly.

With the help of this device, children can learn Korean language and alphabets, calculation, foreign language and other subjects by themselves at an early stage.

Those textbooks for the audio reading pen are "We Learn Our Mother Tongue", "We Learn Calculation", "Let's Observe Rules of Health", "We Learn English", etc.
