Invited to the reception were members of foreign embassies and missions of international bodies.

Attending there were officials of Minister Ri Yong Ho and other officials of the ministry.

Ri Yong Ho made a speech.

He referred to the foreign political stand of the Workers' Party of Korea and the government of the DPRK clarified by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address.

He hoped that good fruits would be made in the development of the bilateral relations through close communication and cooperation this year, too.

Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, spoke next.

Expressing deep thanks for hosting the New Year reception on behalf of the diplomatic corps, he hoped that the course of peace clarified by HE Kim Jong Un, the leader of the DPRK, would continue to develop this year, too.
