Attending the meeting were members and alternate members of the Central Committee of the youth league and its officials.

The meeting discussed the tasks of the league organizations for thoroughly carrying out the important tasks set forth by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address and holding the principle of our state first.

Speeches followed a report made by Pak Chol Min, first secretary of the C.C., youth league.

The reporter and speakers said that Kim Jong Un's New Year Address is an inspiring banner as it gives tremendous strength and courage to the youth across the country who turned out in the general advance for bringing about a revolutionary upswing on all fronts of socialist construction by regarding self-reliance as a treasured sword for prosperity.

They underscored the need to dynamically demonstrate once again strong revolutionary spirit and bravery of five million youth vanguard in the present general advance for building a powerful socialist country by strengthening the militant function and role of the youth league in every way true to the idea and leadership of Kim Jong Un.

An appeal to the youth league organizations and youth across the country was read out there.

The appeal called upon the youth league organizations and youth of the country to fully demonstrate the heroic spirit in the great era of Kim Jong Un as youth vanguard who are dashing forward and always marching straightly toward the Party by fully displaying the mental power of the Korean youth in the van of the general offensive campaign to open a new road of advance for socialist construction under the uplifted banner of self-reliance.
