Attending the seminar were members of the Juche idea study organizations of Japan including the Japanese Okinawa Liaison Council of Societies for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and the Japan-Korea friendship bodies and public figures of all social standings in Okinawa and the secretary general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea.

Speeches were made at the seminar.

An emeritus professor at Okinawa University said last year witnessed the inter-Korean summit meetings and talks and the DPRK-U.S. summit meeting and talks that opened up bright vistas of global peace, adding that it is the great victory won by the strategy of Chairman Kim Jong Un.

He noted that this year should be a year to consolidate the road to peace opened up by the DPRK, calling for following the successes and experience achieved by the Korean people in the accomplishment of the cause of anti-imperialist independence and applying them in practice.

He said that the Korean people, rallied close around the leader, are dynamically speeding up the socialist construction, firmly adhering to the principle of independence in the face of trials and difficulties of every description.

The secretary general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea said that the DPRK has made efforts to develop the friendly and cooperative ties with the countries aspiring after socialism despite the vicious moves of the hostile forces to stifle the DPRK through sanctions.
