Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Uganda

| Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- A Ugandan preparatory committee for marking the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il was formed in Kampala on Jan. 21. Mayambala Lawrence, chairman of the Ugandan National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold colorful political and cultural events in praise of the greatness of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of his 77th birth anniversary. |
