In this regard, Ho Sun Chol, a staff of the Pyongyang Tourist Agency of the National Tourism Administration, told KCNA:

We newly developed a day's tour of Kangso area this year.

The tour of historical sites in Kangso area of Nampho City, 20-odd kilometers away from Pyongyang City, includes sightseeing of the three tombs in Kangso and the tomb in Tokhung-ri, mural tombs dating back to Koguryo Kingdom (B.C. 277-A.D. 668).

Those tombs registered as world cultural heritages in Juche 93 (2004) are one of the historical relics showing the Korean nation's tomb architecture.

The three tombs in Kangso form a large group of tombs -- big, medium and small tombs.

There are mural paintings in big and medium tombs. The mural paintings, the best masterpiece of the pictorial art in the period of Koguryo, remain in their original states.

The mural tomb in Tokhung-ri is a two-chamber tomb showing the figure and genre paintings made in 408.

Tourists will get a medical bath and exercise cure at the mineral water bath house of the Kangso Mineral Water Factory.
