Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Pakistan

| Pyongyang, January 29 (KCNA) -- A Pakistani national preparatory committee for marking the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Karachi on January 22. S. M. Altaf, chairman of the Central Committee of the Worker-Peasant Party of Pakistan, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee set a celebration period from January 23 to February 16 and decided to organize political and cultural events such as a seminar, book and photo exhibition and film show. |
