Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Austria

| Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) -- An Austrian preparatory committee for marking the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Vienna on Jan. 24. Eduard Knapp, chairman of the Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and DPRK, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to give wide publicity to the revolutionary career and feats of Kim Jong Il and hold colorful political and cultural events to mark the Day of the Shining Star. |
