The Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China and the Jilin Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China said in the statements issued on Jan. 27 that they received the appeal to the entire Korean nation at a stirring time when all the Koreans were full of confidence in bright future for national reunification in hearty response to the New Year Address made by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The statements fully supported the appeal reflecting the unanimous demand and will of the entire Korean nation to continue to make a proud history of national reconciliation and unity, peace and prosperity.

All the Koreans in China will make all possible efforts to implement the north-south declarations with the awareness of being responsible for the reunification issue, the statements said.

Rim Myong Sun, chief of a branch of the Mudanjiang Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China, and Yun Yong Hwa, secretary general of the Dalian City Branch of the Liaoning Regional Association of the General Association of Koreans in China, issued statements fully supporting the appeal to the entire Korean nation on Jan. 26.

The statements fully supported the appeal that called for turning out as one in the nationwide advance toward the higher peak of national reconciliation, peace and prosperity.

Eradicating military hostility between north and south and making the Korean peninsula a permanent and durable peace zone is the firm will of the DPRK and to live in a peaceful world free from war is the urgent desire of the fellow countrymen, the statements said.

The statements expressed firm will to fully support and uphold the appeal to the entire Korean nation and vigorously struggle to contribute to the development of north-south relations and national reunification.
