Igor Jurisic, chairman of the Slovenia-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The preparatory committee decided to give wide publicity to the exploits of Kim Jong Il and the reality of the DPRK where world-startling miracles are being registered one after another under the guidance of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and to organize various political and cultural events including a seminar, lecture and film show on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star.
