The British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Korean Friendship Association UK and the British Solidarity Committee for Peace and Reunification of the Korean Peninsula said the appeal adopted at the joint conference of the government, political parties and organizations of the DPRK stressed that the New Year Address made by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un is the bright path and signpost of victory for making greater advance in developing the inter-Korean relations and achieving peace and prosperity and accomplishing the cause of national reunification this year by the concerted efforts of the Korean nation.

And it underscored the need to thoroughly implement the historic inter-Korean declarations, eradicating military hostility between the north and the south, comprehensively expand and develop cooperation and exchange and provide a proposal for peaceful reunification.

They added that they support the efforts of the DPRK for making the Korean Peninsula a permanent and durable peace zone.

The Swiss Organizing Committee for the International Festival in Praise of the Great Persons of Mt Paektu, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea also fully supported the above-said appeal, adding that more radical turn would be made in carrying out the cause of national reunification this year.
