Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Bulgaria

| Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- A Bulgarian preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Sofia on Jan. 23. Atanas Ivanov, honorary chairman of the Bulgarian Communists Union, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee set a celebration period from Jan. 26 to Feb. 16 and decided to organize political and cultural events including a meeting, seminar and film show. |
