Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Indonesia

| Pyongyang, February 5 (KCNA) -- An Indonesian preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was formed on Jan. 25. Ristiyanto, general secretary of the National Guidance Council of the Pioneer Party of Indonesia, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set a celebration period from Jan. 25 to Feb. 16 and decided to organize political and cultural events in praise of Kim Jong Il's revolutionary career and exploits. |
