Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Kyrgyzstan

| Pyongyang, February 5 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on Jan. 28. A. Usupbayev, chairman of the Central Council of the People Unity-"Kyrgyz El" Republican Political Party of Kyrgyzstan and chief of the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize political and cultural events in the run-up to the Day of the Shining Star. |
