The bulletin carried an article titled "On the occasion of the 77th birth anniversary of Comrade Kim Jong Il, the great leader of the Korean people, and idea and exploits of leader Kim Jong Il will remain long" illustrated with a photo of the smiling leader and an article under the subtitle of "For the ideal and peace of mankind".

It said that Kim Jong Il, the greatest of great men, dedicated his whole life to the accomplishment of the revolutionary cause of Juche, prosperity of socialist Korea, national reunification and accomplishment of global independence and, went on:

He made public "Socialism Is a Science" and other famous works at a time when socialism was collapsed one after another in various countries and thus instilled confidence in victory of socialism into the progressives.

He consolidated national defense capabilities in every way with the treasured sword of Songun to smash the imperialists' moves for aggression.
