Seen at the wreath-laying stands of the cemeteries were wreaths sent by Supreme Leader of the Party, state and army Kim Jong Un.

Present at the wreath-laying events were Kim Phyong Hae, Thae Jong Su, Pak Thae Song and other senior officials of the Party and government, members of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), officials of power organs, the Cabinet, working people's organizations, ministries, national institutions, institutions and enterprises and working people in Pyongyang.

Present there were members of armed forces organs including Kim Su Gil and No Kwang Chol.

A wreath in the joint name of the C.C., WPK, the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the DPRK Cabinet was placed at the wreath-laying stand of the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong and the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery in Sinmi-ri and a wreath in the joint name of the Central Committee of the WPK, the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK at the wreath-laying stand of the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery.

Also laid there were wreaths in the names of the Ministry of the People's Armed Forces, the Ministry of People's Security, working people's organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, institutions of science, education, public health and media, Party and power organs, enterprises, etc. in Pyongyang City.

The participants paid a silent tribute to the martyrs.

On the same day wreaths in the names of local Party and power organs, working people's organizations, units of the KPA and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, industrial establishments, farms, etc. were placed before the statues and cemeteries of the martyrs and memorial towers and graves of the fallen soldiers of the KPA across the country as well as bouquets and flowers.
