Greetings to Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un from Syrian President

| Pyongyang, February 8 (KCNA) -- Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a message of greeting from Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad on Thursday. The Syrian president in his message said that he was pleased to extend the warmest congratulations and best wishes to Kim Jong Un and the friendly Korean people on the occasion of the 77th birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il, eternal general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea. The message expressed firm belief that Kim Jong Un would wisely lead the DPRK to greater progress and prosperity by creditably carrying forward the line of Kim Jong Il. |
