Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in Finland

| Pyongyang, February 9 (KCNA) -- A Finnish preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Helsinki on Jan. 29. Juha Kieksy, international secretary of the Finnish Communists' League, was elected to be chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold colorful political and cultural events to praise the immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il with the approach of his birthday. |
