The bulletin in an article titled "77th birth anniversary of the great Comrade Kim Jong Il" said that he was born to be the son of the guerrillas in Mt Paektu, the holy mountain of the Korean revolution, on Feb. 16, 1942 and that he developed in depth the immortal Juche idea as required by the times.

The bulletin recalled in detail that during his work at the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea he developed the Party into the ever-victorious guiding force and unfolded the original Songun politics to foil the imperialist allied forces' anti-DPRK moves and firmly defend socialism.
