Day of Sun, Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Cambodia

| Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- A Cambodian preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversaries of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star) was formed on Feb. 6. Kong Sam Ol, deputy prime minister for Royal Palace, was elected as chairman of the preparatory committee upon the authorization of Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni. The committee decided to give wide publicity to the revolutionary careers and exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and organize colorful political and cultural events on these anniversaries. |
