Day of Sun, Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Slovakia

| Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- A Slovak preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversaries of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Bratislava on February 5. Ivan Draxler, chairman of the Slovakia-Korea Friendship Association and chairman of the Slovak Association for Supporting and Studying the Juche Idea, was elected as chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize political and cultural events praising revolutionary careers and exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on these anniversaries. |
