Japan's Ambition to Seize Tok Island Can Never Be Realized: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- Ri Hak Nam, researcher of the Institute for Japan Studies, in an article carried by Rodong Sinmun on Wednesday denounces Japanese reactionaries for insisting their dominium over Tok Island.

Japanese Foreign Minister Kono, speaking about diplomatic affairs at the Diet some days ago, said that Tok Island is a "territory of Japan", and stirred up the public opinion as if a territory of Japan is illegally occupied by other country, the article says, and goes on:

His remarks are a gangster-like claim to seize inviolable territory of the Korean nation, not content with persistently denying Japan's past crimes including the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army.

Tok Island is an inalienable territory of Korea, and Japan has no ground and excuse for asserting its dominium over Tok Island.

Japan's denial of history is the refusal to reflect on its aggression and this shows its will to repeat its past crimes.

Japan attempts to invade Korea and the continent as it did in the past. To find an excuse for the reinvasion of Korea, Japan persists in nonsensical sophism that Tok Island is a "territory of Japan".

We'd like to warn the Japanese politicians against their foolish ambition to seize Tok Island.

They will face irreversible disaster if they continued to get hysterics in asserting its dominium over other's territory.
