Centenarian Receives Birthday Spread
Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Kim Nok Ju, woman centenarian living in Sosong District, Pyongyang City.

Born into a poor peasant family before the liberation of the country, she experienced the sorrow of a stateless nation, suffering every kind of humiliation and insult. It was not until President Kim Il Sung liberated the country that she could live a happy life.

She diligently did farming to repay the benevolence of the President who put forward her as owner of land and mistress of the country, and took active part in supporting the front as a widow of a fallen solider during the Fatherland Liberation War.

She did her best as the one who was responsible for the granary of the country, true to the Party's agricultural policy during the postwar reconstruction and socialist construction and has enjoyed her remaining years in good health after becoming a pensioner.
