Koreans in Japan Gives Its Premiere for Celebrating Day of Shining Star

| Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- An art troupe of Koreans in Japan for celebrating the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il (Day of the Shining Star) gave a song and dance performance "The General Association of Korean Residents in Japan Glorifying with Best Wishes of February" at the Pyongyang Grand Theatre Wednesday. The performers praised the immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il in such numbers as female solo "Ode to Comrade Kim Jong Il" and male solo "His Ideal". The audience's hearts were mesmerized by female trio "Ardent Desire" and male solo "The Country Is the Marshal" representing profound reverence for Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un. Put on the stage were numbers including solo dance "Dance with a Pair of Fans" and jangsaenap instrumental solo "Arirang of Prosperity" full of the national emotion and optimism. Watching the performance were Minister of Culture Pak Chun Nam, officials concerned and working people in the city. The performance continues. |
