Every day the group of the LKP at the "national assembly" and before media makes the unreasonable remarks that the "foundation for the national security was destroyed owing to the south-north agreement in the military field" and "the north is violating the south's right to defense by abusing the agreement".

Shortly ago, the group toured even the areas close to the Military Demarcation Line where they said that the south-north agreement in the military field is a major reason of security destruction as it is a virus-like clause.

Meanwhile, the retired persons of the military including the former ministers of National Defense harboring deep-rooted hostility towards the DPRK formed the ultra-right conservative organization called the "general corps on reserve duty" and fixed February as the deadline for the repeal of the agreement, saying that the "policy of the government may incite the general national insecurity".

Their sophism such as "collapse of security" and "destruction of security" is nothing but a far-fetched assertion which can never work on anyone.

As recognized by everyone, the north-south agreement in the military field is a non-aggression declaration in effect in which both sides committed to putting an end to the fratricidal war by the armed forces. It is natural that the whole compatriots including the south Korean people positively hailed and supported it.

Last year progress was made in terminating the military and hostile relations between the north and the south thanks to the first meaning step made for the implementation of the agreement.

This being a fact, there are scum who openly challenge the desire of all the fellow countrymen for peace, prosperity and reunification while flatly denying the progress. Who are they?

They are just political swindlers who have deceived the people with their clumsy "security deal" and prolonged their political remaining days.

They are the traitors and confrontational maniacs without an equal in the world who harassed the sovereignty of the nation and regional peace and security pursuant to the policy of heinous confrontation with fellow countrymen and policy of dependence on outsiders.

Their purpose is clear.

That is to maintain the confrontation with which they have subsisted so far and save their destiny from declining at any cost by scrapping the north-south agreement in the military field aimed at putting an end to the fratricidal war.

It is illogical that the arch criminals chiefly harassing the national security rant out about the "destruction of security" like the guilty party filing the suit first.

All agreements made between the north and the south are the valuable fruit guaranteeing the wellbeing of the compatriots and prosperity of the nation, and the immortal programme to be implemented without fail.

Whoever goes against this, whether they are the conservative opposition party and retirees of the military, are the traitors to be removed as soon as possible for the sake of reconciliation and unity of the nation and peace on the Korean peninsula.

The south Korean people of various circles should mete out a merciless punishment to the traitors who are making desperate efforts to reverse the trend of the times toward peace and prosperity to that in the past period of confrontation and war.
