Chairman Kim Jong Il is an outstanding leader and peerless patriot who warmly loved the country and its people and set a contemporary example in the building of a powerful socialist nation through his tireless guidance.

Patriotism which Kim Jong Il possessed of and personally applied to the reality is unprecedented in history in its depth, scale and intensity. He didn't hesitate to inspect the forefronts within the sight of enemies and kept on giving field guidance while enduring manifold mental and physical fatigue with superhuman spirit in order to defend the country.

Thanks to his untiring patriotic devotion, Korean-style socialism has been consolidated to be an invincible fortress and a dramatic change made in the country's dignity and position. All the people will never forget his exploits for building a power and strong armed forces by burning himself out to glorify the DPRK before the world and laying firm groundwork for the building of a powerful socialist nation.

Minju Joson also says that Kim Jong Il's life was the noblest one of the peerless patriot who devoted his all to the country and its people.
