Foreigners Pay Tribute to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il

| Pyongyang, February 16 (KCNA) -- Foreigners and overseas compatriots including participants in the 23rd Kimjongilia Festival, congratulatory groups of Koreans in Japan and the General Association of Koreans in China visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on Saturday to pay tribute to Chairman Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star, his birth anniversary. They paid deep respects to the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il. In the hall where Kim Jong Il lies in state, they made a bow to him. They went round the hall in which orders Kim Jong Il received are on display and halls which house the car, electric car, boat and train coach used by him during his field guidance and foreign tours till the last moments of his life. On the same day, the chief of the Pyongyang Mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front and members of the mission visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun to pay tribute to Kim Jong Il. |
