Present there were Kim Yong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier of the Cabinet, and other senior government officials, the chairperson of a friendly party and officials of the power organs, the Cabinet, ministries and national institutions.

Seen standing before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il was a floral basket in the august name of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and floral baskets in the name of the Central Committee of the WPK and in the joint name of the Central Military Commission of the WPK and the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK.

Placed before the statues was a floral basket in the joint name of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Cabinet of the DPRK.

The senior government officials paid respects to the statues.

At the hall where Kim Jong Il lies in state, they made a bow to him in humblest reverence, looking back upon his immortal revolutionary career and exploits.
