Among the audience were senior Party and government officials including Kim Yong Nam, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, and officials of ministries and national institutions.

Enjoying the performance were officials of armed forces organs.

Invited to see the performance were congratulatory groups of overseas Koreans including the congratulatory group of Koreans in Japan and other compatriots visiting the socialist homeland, the chief of the Pyongyang Mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front, foreign diplomatic envoys and representatives of international bodies and military attaches here and their spouses and foreign guests.

The performance began with a prelude "February Waltz".

Put on the stage were such numbers as female chorus "Snow-covered Native Home", female solo and pangchang "Thinking of General" and male solo and female chorus "Tell, O Road of Songun" and "Song of Love for People".

The performers sang high praises of the revolutionary feats of Kim Jong Il.

On the same day, a dance suite was given by the National Folk Art Troupe at the Ponghwa Art Theatre.
