South Korean Ruling Party Urges Official Apology of LKP

| Pyongyang, February 17 (KCNA) -- The Minju Party of south Korea reportedly demanded that the "Liberal Korea Party" make an official apology while urging punishment of those who distorted the Kwangju Uprising on Feb. 11. The members of the Minju Party held a meeting in the "National Assembly" and denounced the lawmakers of LKP for distorting the spirit of the May 18 Kwangju Uprising and insulting history. They criticized the LKP lawmakers for even describing the chief criminal of the Kwangju massacre Chun Doo Hwan as a "hero". |
