He paid high tribute to Kim Jong Il and made a bow to him, praying for his immortality on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star.

He said that Kim Jong Il, who was born into a son of the guerrillas in Mt Paektu, the holy mountain of revolution, and grew up in the stirring period of the construction of new Korea and during the Fatherland Liberation War, is a peerless statesman as he successfully led the overall work of the Party, state and army to usher in a great heyday of the Juche cause.

He also said that Kim Jong Il would always be with us as the sun of Juche as he made ever-victorious history of the Korean revolution and fully demonstrated the dignity of the country and bolstered up its power and his undying feats for the prosperity of Juche Korea would be glorified for all ages.

The reporter appealed to the officials of Chongryon and all the Koreans in Japan to be loyal to the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un and make an all-out effort to implement the decisions of the 24th Congress of Chongryon with a firm confidence in victory.
