In the past 45 years after the publication of the work, the WPK has been firmly consolidated as the powerful political general staff which firmly established monolithic ideology and leadership, and the revolutionary ranks developed into the militant ranks closely united around the Party.

The leader's monolithic ideological system was fully established in the whole party and society, and a great heyday was ushered in the era of the Workers' Party making a leaping forward and advancing with the leader's idea as its guideline.

In the whole period of his revolutionary leadership, Kim Jong Il issued many encyclopedic famous works to add luster to the revolutionary idea of the President and developed and enriched Kimilsungism as required by the developing era and revolution.

In particular, he advanced the lines of modeling the whole party and army on Kimilsungism to strengthen the WPK and Korean People's Army into the party and army of the leader in which the system of the monolithic idea and leadership were fully established.
