Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un Sends Birthday Spread to Centenarian
Pyongyang, February 19 (KCNA) -- Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Ri Ho Song, a centenarian living in Taedongmun-dong, Central District, Pyongyang.

She, who was born into a poor peasant's family in Songchon County and suffered humiliation and insult before the liberation of the country, helped her husband, a member of the Association for the Restoration of the Fatherland, with his revolutionary work and made a contribution to the national liberation.

After the liberation of the country, she became a member of the Workers' Party of Korea and official of the women's union under the care of President Kim Il Sung and aroused members of the women's union to the building of a new country.

During the Fatherland Liberation War, she joined the army with a high sense of obligation for national defense and fully carried out her duty, proceeding from the mission to defend the country and in the periods of the post-war reconstruction and socialist construction she worked hard for the prosperity of the country.

She is enjoying the rest of her life under the socialist system, being respected as a bereaved family member of an anti-Japanese patriotic martyr and a war veteran under the care of the Party.
