At the seminar, Harish Gupta, director general of the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea, made a keynote report which was followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers said that the Day of the Shining Star is a common holiday of mankind which is grandly celebrated by not only the Korean people but also the world progressive people.

They highly praised President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, the eternal leaders of the Korean people, as the peerlessly great men who performed undying feats in achieving the prosperity of the country and accomplishing the cause of global peace.

They stated Kim Jong Un, the Supreme Leader of the Korean people, is developing the DPRK into a more powerful country, holding higher the banner of the Juche idea, adding that the daily-changing look of the DPRK clearly shows his greatness and wise leadership.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.
